Websites for companies in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi buyers include government bodies, industrial groups and financial firms. Our team in Istanbul builds for them without any presence on the ground.

A website for an Abu Dhabi company usually has to earn trust with institutional buyers, state its licence position clearly and read well in English and Arabic. Tooba Web builds these sites remotely from Istanbul, one hour behind Abu Dhabi, and does not have an office in the emirate.

How is Abu Dhabi's economy structured?
Abu Dhabi's economy is the UAE's oil-rich capital economy, now being diversified. Preliminary figures from the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi put 2024 real GDP growth at 3.8%, reaching AED 1.2 trillion, with non-oil activity at 54.7% of GDP.
Within non-oil activity, the same release lists manufacturing at 9.5% of GDP, construction at 9.1% and financial and insurance activities at 6.6%. Wikipedia adds that Abu Dhabi holds most of the UAE's oil and is home to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. A supplier selling into these sectors writes for engineers and procurement committees, not impulse buyers.
Which Abu Dhabi zones suit which kind of business?
Abu Dhabi separates its business districts by purpose, and the site should say which one you belong to. These are the ones clients mention most.
| Zone | Purpose | Stated fact |
|---|---|---|
| Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) | Financial centre on Al Maryah Island and Al Reem Island | Opened October 2015; applies English common law with its own courts |
| Masdar City Free Zone | Clean technology and innovation | Launched 2006; about 6 km2; hosts Khalifa University |
| KEZAD, beside Khalifa Port | Industry and logistics | Port inaugurated 12 December 2012; the port area connects to the industrial zone |
| twofour54 | Media free zone | Named as Abu Dhabi's media zone |
What does licensing mean for an Abu Dhabi website?
Mainland companies in Abu Dhabi are licensed by the Department of Economic Development (ADDED), whose services are delivered through the TAMM platform. Free zone companies are licensed by their zone, and the UAE government portal says free zone companies are generally not permitted to sell directly on the mainland without the required licences or approvals.
A site for a free zone firm should therefore avoid promising mainland delivery it may not be licensed for. Check wording with the licensing body or a lawyer before publishing.
What language and contact mix do Abu Dhabi visitors expect?
Abu Dhabi visitors expect English at minimum and Arabic for government-facing work. Arabic is the UAE's official language, English is the most used business language, and Abu Dhabi has recognised Hindi as a third official language in its courts since 2019, which hints at how varied its communities are.
A 2024 YouGov survey of 1,000 UAE residents, commissioned by the platform Zbooni, found 85% would prefer WhatsApp for dealing with companies. We therefore place WhatsApp beside the phone number, though tender documents still arrive by email.
Yas Island is a useful example. Its Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has run since 2009, Ferrari World opened in November 2010 and Warner Bros. World in July 2018, so event and hospitality sites there face demand peaks. We link out to your ticketing provider rather than building a shop.
How does the work run from Istanbul?
For an Abu Dhabi client we write a brief first, then share drafts for comment between calls. Istanbul is UTC+3 and Abu Dhabi UTC+4, so a call at 10:00 in the capital is 09:00 for us; no daylight saving changes that.
Payment is by invoice and bank transfer, agreed on WhatsApp at +90 216 393 10 07. For scope, read about web design, custom software and dashboards and AI-search optimisation.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have a presence in Abu Dhabi?
No. Tooba Web is operated by Tuba Yazılım from Istanbul and has no office, staff, address or Google Business Profile in Abu Dhabi. Because of that, we do not offer local SEO for businesses without a real local address, and we say so before agreeing any scope.
Can you build for an ADGM-registered company?
Yes, as a website designer. We shape the content around your activities and audience. ADGM has its own rules and regulator for financial activities, so confirm what you may publish about regulated services with ADGM or a lawyer before the site goes live.
Is a bilingual site necessary for Abu Dhabi?
Not always. English suffices for many private businesses, but a company selling to government entities or local partners often benefits from Arabic as well. We build the layout to support right-to-left text so Arabic can be added later without a full redesign.
Can you build dashboards for industrial clients?
Yes. Custom software, web apps and dashboards are part of our work, for example reporting screens for operations teams. We scope each one in writing first. We do not take on cloud infrastructure projects such as Kubernetes clusters, and we do not build mobile apps.
How do you handle time differences with Abu Dhabi?
There is a one-hour difference: Istanbul is UTC+3 and Abu Dhabi is UTC+4, and neither uses daylight saving. Calls fit easily into a normal working day, and WhatsApp on +90 216 393 10 07 covers quick questions outside call times, and written summaries follow each call.
