Websites for companies based in SAIF Zone, Sharjah
SAIF Zone sits beside an international airport, so a company there may be judged by buyers who never visit. Its website is the first meeting.

SAIF Zone, the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, is a free zone beside Sharjah International Airport, established in 1995 and run by its own authority. A website for a company there should state the licensed activity plainly, group products by buyer type, and make a quote request easy by form or WhatsApp. Tooba Web builds such sites remotely from Istanbul.

Key facts
- SAIF Zone was established in 1995; Khaleej Times (2011) gives 8 May 1995 and Amiri Decree No. 2/1995.
- It lies beside Sharjah International Airport, which Wikipedia places 13 km east-south-east of Sharjah.
- Sharjah International Airport recorded 17,101,725 passengers in 2024 (Wikipedia).
- The Gold, Diamond and Commodities Park was reported in March 2025 to host more than 55 gold refineries and 250 specialised companies.
- In October 2025 Gulf News reported that SAIF Zone hosts more than 500 food-supply-chain companies.
What is SAIF Zone and who runs it?
SAIF Zone is a free zone next to Sharjah International Airport, run by the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority. Wikipedia gives 1995 as its founding year, and a 2011 Khaleej Times report says it began operating on 8 May 1995 under Amiri Decree No. 2/1995. The UAE government portal lists the authority among Sharjah's free zone authorities and says licence applications are made on the relevant authority's website.
The airport itself is 13 km east-south-east of Sharjah and opened on 1 January 1977. Wikipedia, the source for both details, also lists 17,101,725 passengers for 2024 and names Air Arabia as the airline based there.
Which sectors does SAIF Zone promote?
The zone's recent announcements highlight three sectors: gold and commodities, food, and beauty. They are described in the zone's own words, so treat the figures as self-reported.
- Gold and commodities: a trade outlet reported on 4 March 2025 that the Gold, Diamond and Commodities Park is home to more than 55 gold refineries and 250 specialised companies.
- Food: Gulf News reported in October 2025 that the zone hosts more than 500 companies in the food supply chain, with warehouses and cold storage.
- Beauty: in October 2025 the zone promoted itself at Beautyworld Middle East, citing infrastructure and flexible facilities for production and distribution.
Tenant totals are not consistent across sources. Two Wikipedia articles give about 2,500 and more than 6,000, and the 2011 report counted 5,192, so quote a number only if the authority gives it, with its date.
How should a SAIF Zone site speak to buyers abroad?
It should let a stranger in another country judge the company in a single visit. Sharjah24 describes the zone's location as a gateway to Middle East and North Africa markets, so readers may be distributors, forwarders or procurement staff comparing several suppliers in a row.
That favours a plain structure: one page per product family with specification tables, the countries you serve, the order terms you are willing to state, and the exact legal name from your licence. Give response times in UAE hours, because a buyer elsewhere needs to know when an answer will arrive.
What can a SAIF Zone website say about licences?
It should repeat what your licence says and nothing broader. The u.ae portal lists the Economic Development Department as Sharjah's mainland licensing authority, while a free zone company is licensed through its own zone authority. We do not interpret trading rules, so confirm each claim with the authority or a lawyer.
- Licensed activities and trade name: match the licence document.
- Selling or delivering on the UAE mainland: confirm permission first.
- Purity, halal, quality or origin claims: show the certificate and who issued it.
- Storage or cold-chain capacity: state only what your lease and records support.
What does each type of SAIF Zone business need from its site?
Each business type needs a different first screen. The table is a starting point, not a rulebook, and your own buyers should shape it.
| Business need | What the website should do |
|---|---|
| General trader | Group the catalogue by buyer need, with specifications and a quote form |
| Gold or jewellery firm | Describe processes and documents you can evidence, and keep every claim verifiable |
| Food or beauty supplier | List product ranges, pack formats and the certificates you actually hold |
| Warehouse or logistics operator | Explain services and coverage, with a named contact route |
We do not build online shops. A catalogue site passes orders and quote requests to your sales team by form or WhatsApp.
How does remote delivery from Istanbul work for a SAIF Zone company?
We work entirely online from Istanbul, so a SAIF Zone project runs through messages, documents and video calls. Tooba Web has no office, staff, address or Google Business Profile in Sharjah or anywhere else in the UAE, and no connection with the zone or its authority. Istanbul is one hour behind Sharjah, so calls fit normal working hours on both sides.
You send the brief, licence wording, product data and photographs by WhatsApp (+90 216 393 10 07) or email. We return a design draft, you comment, and we run revision rounds until the pages are approved. Invoices are paid by bank transfer. See web design and SEO.
Frequently asked questions
What does SAIF Zone stand for?
SAIF Zone is the short name of the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone, a free zone beside Sharjah International Airport. Wikipedia dates it to 1995, and the UAE government portal lists the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority among Sharjah's free zone authorities. For licence questions, ask that authority directly.
Can a SAIF Zone website promise delivery across the UAE?
Only if the company's licence and the current rules allow it, and we cannot judge that for you. A free zone firm is licensed by its zone authority, while the mainland is licensed by Sharjah's Economic Development Department. Confirm any delivery or sales claim with the authority or a lawyer before publishing it.
Do you have an office in Sharjah?
No. Tooba Web is a brand of Tuba Yazılım, an Istanbul company founded in 2024. We have no office, staff, address or Google Business Profile in Sharjah or the rest of the UAE, and everything is delivered remotely. We therefore do not create local listings for places where we have no presence.
Can a SAIF Zone company's website include a product catalogue and quote requests?
Yes. We build custom catalogue pages with specification tables and quote-request forms that send enquiries to email or WhatsApp. We do not build online shops or checkout, so payment and order handling stay in your existing process, and the website simply hands the enquiry to your team.
Which languages should a SAIF Zone website use?
Choose languages from your buyers. English is the most used language in UAE business and Arabic is the official language, so those two are a sensible base. Add further languages only for markets where you actually sell, and have a fluent reader check each translation. We build the layouts, including right-to-left Arabic.
