Google Review Link and QR Code Generator
Paste your Place ID or the review link from your Business Profile to get a link, a QR code, a printable card and ready-made messages.
The Google review link generator turns your Place ID or the review request link from your Business Profile into a link that opens the review box, plus a QR code, a printable A6, A5 or A4 card and ready-made message templates in English, Arabic or Turkish. It works only in your browser and never contacts Google, so it cannot check that the link is correct.

What is a Google review link?
A Google review link opens the review box for your business directly, so customers do not have to search for your listing first. Fewer steps make it easier for people who already want to review you. Customers must be signed in to a Google Account to post one.
| You have | What it looks like | Does this tool accept it? |
|---|---|---|
| Review request link from your profile | g.page/r/.../review | Yes |
| Place ID | ChIJ... (most start this way) | Yes, it builds a writereview link |
| Google Maps share link | maps.app.goo.gl/... | No: it opens the map page, not the review box |
Where do I find my review link or Place ID?
Google's help pages say you can ask customers to review you with a Google link or a QR code, and that a manager of your Business Profile can create them from the profile. Look for the option to ask for reviews in your profile and copy the link it gives you.
If you cannot find it, Google's Place ID Finder, in the Maps Platform documentation, returns a Place ID for your business. Most start with ChIJ, but not all do. Paste either into the tool; if the link opens the wrong business, re-check the ID.
How do I use the generator, step by step?
- Optionally add your business name. It is used in the card and the messages.
- Paste the link or the Place ID. A green message confirms it was recognised.
- Press the test button and check that your business and a review box appear.
- Download the QR code as PNG or SVG, or choose a card size and print it. Save as PDF if you want a file.
- Pick the message language and copy the WhatsApp, SMS or email text.
Put the card where customers already pause: reception, tables, checkout, delivery bags. In the UAE, an Arabic and English pair of cards often suits mixed customers.
What does Google allow when you ask for reviews?
Google allows you to ask customers for genuine reviews, but not to influence them. Its policy bans offering discounts, gifts or payment for reviews, and bans discouraging negative reviews or selectively asking only happy customers. Reviews that break these rules can be removed.
- Ask every customer in the same way.
- Do not reward reviews or require a positive one.
- Do not ask staff, friends or family to post.
- Reply to reviews, including critical ones, calmly and factually.
What can this tool not do?
- It never contacts Google, so it cannot confirm that a Place ID belongs to you or that a link works. Always use the test button.
- It cannot open shortened links such as maps.app.goo.gl or g.co/kgs, because that needs a network request. Use the review request link from your profile or a Place ID.
- It does not show, fetch or analyse reviews, and it cannot promise any number of reviews or any change in ranking.
- It cannot make anyone leave a review. Results depend on how and when you ask.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my Google review link?
Sign in as a manager of your Business Profile and look for the option to ask for reviews, where Google offers a link and a QR code. Copy that link into this tool. If you cannot find it, use your Place ID from Google's Place ID Finder instead.
What is a Place ID?
A Place ID is Google's text identifier for a place on its maps. The documented examples include IDs that begin with ChIJ, though others begin differently and have no fixed length. This tool turns a Place ID into a review link. Test it before printing.
Can I offer a discount in return for a review?
No. Google's policy does not allow incentives such as discounts, free goods or payment in exchange for reviews, and it also does not allow selectively asking happy customers. Ask every customer the same way and thank them, whatever they write.
Why is my maps.app.goo.gl link rejected?
Shortened Maps links open your map page, not the review box, and this tool cannot follow them because it makes no network requests. Use the review request link from your Business Profile or your Place ID instead, then test the result.
Do customers need a Google account to leave a review?
Yes. Google says customers must be signed in to a Google Account to leave a review, though a non-Gmail email address is enough to create one. Mention this on printed cards if many of your customers use other email services.
